Responsibilities
- Strong customer service skills partnered with strong teamwork skills
- Basic welding cutting skills and machining skills would be an asset
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills and interest in continuous learning and improvement
- Good verbal, written, good PC skills and interpersonal communication skills – JDE – Maximo - SAP
- Strong time management, organization and prioritizing skills
- Excellent time management, prioritization, multitasking and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and positive team attitude
- Eight (8- 12) years of documented experience as a Millwright Completion of Apprenticeship Certificate
- Working outdoors and varied temperatures and weather conditions
- Working indoors in varied conditions (ie. hot, noisy, dusty)
- Effortless mobility through all areas of the Factory
-Operates safely all Powered Industrial Equipment in the plant
-Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding
-Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, or gas welding equipment
-Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
-Demonstrates the skillful ability to cut with a torch
-Perform electrical assignments that can be accomplished with present skills in a safe manner
Qualifications
-Red Seal Millwright an asset
-Pulp paper, oil gas, chemical, mining or sawmills would be an asset
