We're looking a RED SEAL millwright for a permanent day shift position, with a company located in Richmond (near Annacis Island)
Only Journeyperson / Red Seal millwrights would be eligible for this position. Job role is part of the union.

Responsibilities
-Maintain and repair plant equipment to ensure a high level of performance with minimal downtime, including preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
-Repairs, upgrades, and rebuilds on mechanical machinery (including overhauls on 40 – 100 ton presses)
-Work with management, and the rest of the department, to increase all key areas of reliability and communicate possible issues.
-Equipment inspection, testing, lubrication, and following an in-depth trouble shooting program
-Understand and follow the parts inventory flow and ticket systems
-Work safely around hot and cold elements and chemicals (PPE provided).
Qualifications
Journeyperson / Red Seal millwright ticket
Experience in repairs, upgrades, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and root cause in:
• overhead cranes
• gas furnaces
• pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
• gear reducers
• conveyors / rolling equipment
• motors
-Physically fit, able to lift up to 50lbs
-Safety conscious
-A team player
