A leading industrial equipment supplier based in Vankleek Hill, Canada, specializing in providing cutting-edge machinery and equipment to various industries is looking for a Millwright.

•Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
•Some travel in Canada and US up to 10 weeks throughout the year

Responsibilities
As a Millwright for this manufacturing company, you will be responsible for:
•Inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain automated machines, robotic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
•Conduct onsite mechanical installation in Canada and the US
•Ensure proper inventory, order parts, complete paperwork and keep precise records
•Fabricate, adjust and machine parts as needed
•Lead projects and make machinery improvements recommendations to increase productivity
•Participate in the continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
This Millwright opportunity located east of Ottawa requires:
•At least 3-5 years of experience as a Millwright with automation experience
•Experience operating cranes, rigs, forklifts, hand and power tools
•Ability to read blueprints, weld MIG, fabricate and machine parts, and use measuring devices
•Hold a valid passport and driver’s license
•Must be reliable, accountable, able to work independently and in a team, and have strong communication skills
