Day Shift
Permanent role : $87k-$90 K
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do: 🔧
Coordinate the Tooling Preventative Maintenance Schedule with production activities. Collaborate with
Production and Engineering to ensure prompt and accurate repair of mold breakdowns. Monitor daily
operations in the tooling maintenance area. Design jigs and fixtures of various types, sizes, and
shapes, and assess equipment performance. Assist in evaluating tooling, tracking repairs, and
scheduling preventive maintenance. Provide supervision and training to department associates as
required.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading teams with a track record of achieving exceptional results and fostering a collaborative environment.
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of mold design, fabrication, and maintenance with a strong background in plastics manufacturing.
Possesses a post-secondary technical diploma or equivalent.
Licensed with 5 to 10 years of experience in tooling.
Experience in tool and die making or mold making is an asset
Experience in the automotive industry or a related industry is an asset
Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
Skilled at working in a fast-paced environment.
