     Your responsibilities
     
    • Help to implement your group’s strategic plan within the targeted plants acting as Safety Subject Matter Expert
    • Define and promote safe practices and healthy culture with plant management and team members
    • Conduct and complete incident investigations; facilitate corrective actions with site stakeholders
    • Facilitate and conduct workplace risk assessments in partnership with the Joint Health and Safety Committee
    • Coordinate the implementation of OHS practices, processes and tools within the targeted plants
    • Advise the management of the plants concerned about best practices in OHS
    • Monitor performance indicators and analyze their results
     Your background and strengths
     
    • Minimum of 3 year's experience in Health & Safety in a manufacturing/warehousing setting
    • University Degree or College Diploma will be considered an asset
    • OSHA certification preferred
    • Ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
    • Strong communication skills
