Responsibilities
The candidate will work on support and enhance a vendor application.
Responsible for JIRA development, unit testing, detailed design and system implementation plan, PROD issue troubleshooting and environment support.
Also participate in the Currency project, which is to migrate existing on-prem applications to Azure cloud.
Developer will help create a new API service, converting existing ASP.NET to .NET Core and doing model conversation.
Qualifications
ASP.Net/.NET Core - 4 yrs*
Webservices /API and NodeJS API - 2 yrs*
PostgreSQL -2 years and MS SQL - 4yrs*
Azure development -2 yrs*
5+ years Solid development experiences using the following technologies and tools:
ASP.Net, .NET Core, nodeJS API, Web Services, SQL, PostgreSQL
Windows and Linux Operating Systems, MS SQL server
BitBucket, GIT, Nexus, DevOps, Jenkins
JIRA, Confluence, JTMF
Integration with other applications
Highly organized, self-motivated, customer oriented and able to work independently as well as within a team
Excellent problem solving and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Providing 2nd and 3rd line support for in-house developed applications and experience of Vendor Product support
Proficient in SDLC and Agile methodologies
Highly flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities
Ability to operate under strict timelines
Nice to Haves:
Nice to have Azure cloud knowledge and have experience of data migration.
Python development experience
Vendor product support experience
Migrating application to host on Azure platform experience
