We are seeking an experienced New Product Introduction Engineer for a well established high tech manufacturing client of ours that is experiencing further growth. The successful candidate will bring best in class technical knowledge with the energy, people skills, and demonstrated experience to be an effective leader in a fast-paced, high mix manufacturing (assembly and integration) environment.


•Leadership of Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) for all NPI programs and establishing best practices for all aspects of commercialization.
•Working collaboratively within a core team environment to deliver quality, cost-optimized product designs on schedule and within budget.
•Providing technical direction, coaching, and training to members of the manufacturing and design engineering teams.


•7 or more years as an Engineer working within a NPI manufacturing environment
•Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering
•Demonstrated experience showing excellence in:
•Cross-functional New Product Development Processes
•Commercialization for mixed model integration environment
•Design for Manufacturing & Assembly and Poke Yoke methodology
•Design of effective jigs and fixtures to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost
•Communication of technical concepts to different audiences
•Work within collaborative teams and complete assignments to requirements, time, and budget
•Critical thinking and problem solving
•Adoption of new technology to drive manufacturing improvements

Desirable Skills or Experience:
•Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (P-FMEA)
•Advanced product quality planning (APQP)
•Lean and Six Sigma
•Solidworks, drafting standards, and mechanical design experience
•Sheet metal fabrication and assembly process knowledge
•Project management
•Proficiency with ERP and PLM systems
•Experience with electrical / electro-mechanical system assembly and integration
•Experience in the telecommunications, traffic system, or automotive industries
•Effective peer leadership and change agent qualities
