Responsibilities
- Responsible for handling all ocean import and export deliveries
- Coordinate all aspects of shipment process (booking, manifest, Bills of Lading and billing)
- Review all shipment documentation to confirm accuracy and perform data entry
- Ensure all client special instructions are followed
- Maintain effective relationship with clients and answer general inquiries regarding shipment status
- Book cargo with transportation companies
- Tracking status with ocean carriers and keeping clients/agents advised of status
- Follow up on client’s reports
- Maintain customer profiles
Qualifications
- 1 year experience in ocean imports or exports
- Knowledge of 3PL industry is considered an asset
- Tech savvy
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer service skills
- English with Advanced French
