We are currently searching for an experienced Office Manager/Purchasing Clerk to join a leading local manufacturing company in Pickering, Ontario. Day-to-day responsibilities include the daily management of the Pickering office including computer work, answering phones, sorting/distributing the mail, maintaining office supplies, ensuring equipment is operational, and maintaining an orderly and presentable environment for visiting clients/customers. In addition, the successful candidate will also be responsible for navigating through the purchasing cycle, following up with vendors, negotiating where necessary, matching invoices to POs, and preparing reports.

Requirements for this Office Management/Purchasing role include:

* College degree in administration or equivalent
* 5-7 years experience in a Manufacturing environment or Purchasing
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP applications
