As an Operations Officer II, you will be responsible for maintaining the continuity of service for all clients and business partners within the Registered Plans division. Your primary accountability is the timely and accurate processing of high-volume transactions. Success requires working with multiple applications simultaneously, adhering strictly to firm and industry regulations, and proactively identifying and escalating risk issues or process gaps. You will work within a highly collaborative team culture where adherence to process and productivity metrics are key measures of performance.

Responsibilities
Transaction Processing: Accurately and timely process high-volume financial and non-financial transactions related to various banking products, including Registered Plans (RSPs, TFSAs).
Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Strictly follow all firm and industry regulations and operating practices; escalate processing issues, non-standard transactions, and high-risk activities immediately.
Service Delivery: Prioritize and manage a high-volume personal workload to consistently meet strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and internal service delivery standards.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and support the testing and implementation of process improvement initiatives.
Data and System Management: Utilize strong technical skills to operate across multiple applications, ensure data uploads/downloads are timely and accurate, and assist with developing or maintaining End-User Computing tools (EUCs).
Team Collaboration: Participate fully in the team environment, providing support, contributing to a positive culture, and engaging in continuous knowledge development in the area of Registered Plans.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a strong technical aptitude (comfortable learning and using multiple complex applications, familiar with EUCs).
Experience: 2–4 years of overall professional experience, ideally within a corporate or high-volume administrative setting.
Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma (preferably in a financial or business discipline).
Work Commitment: Must be available to work 100% on-site at the downtown Toronto address and legally eligible to work in Canada for the duration of the contract.
Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, customer service orientation (for internal emails and calls), and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Have
Financial Experience: Prior experience in a banking, financial institution, or corporate setting.
Product Knowledge: Familiarity with registered banking products such as RSPs and TFSAs.
Excel Automation: Experience with or familiarity with Macros within Excel.
