Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for an Operations Officer for a 12 month contract in Mississauga . This is hybrid role - onsite 2-3 days per week. There is possibility of contract extension and conversion depending on availability.
Pay rate: $22.00/hr
Working hours: Monday-Friday, between 8:00am-8:00pm (Shifts. 8:00am-4:00pm or 12:00pm-8:00pm or 10:00am-6:00pm)

Responsibilities
The Operations Officer role is responsible for reviewing system input as well as business specific documentation for compliance and accuracy as outlined in our business' procedures.
• Core accountabilities include:
• Review 100% of new SBB accounts and signing authority changes for accuracy and completion of AML/KYC/KYB information required to adhere to AML/KYC/KYB compliance in line with business specific procedures
• Effectively support partners with questions and clarification in resolving deficiencies identified Support the ongoing improvement to the customer experience to develop customer dedication
Qualifications

• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication, interpersonal, planning and time management skills to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work efficiently to meet individual and team driven benchmarks
• Be conscientious and detail oriented in order to mitigate any risk to the bank
• Understand and apply operating policies and procedures
• Customer driven with a focus on providing exceptional customer service at all times
• Ability to take ownership of situations and know when to escalate issues as required
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced, high volume environment
• Ensure Service Level Agreements are adhered to at all times
• Ability to assess and make decisions on ensuring Small Business Accounts are AML/KYC/KYB compliant
• Adopt to new process and technology improvements
• Focus of work is on the completion of day to day processes or activities, however might be assigned additional activities as required
• College and/or university degree would be an asset
• Please note – post pandemic this role will be required to attend our office in Mississauga on a regular basis
MUST HAVE:
1. Fast-paced, multitasking, work well under pressure
2. Detail oriented
3. Computer Skills – MS Suites Excel: basic understanding
4. Previous admin work/ previous Ops officer work 2+ years
5. Strong oral and written communication skills
6. Able to work independently/ excellent time management skills
7. Banking Experience/ Previous financial institution
NICE TO HAVE:
1. Bilingual English and French – able to hold conversations as needed
2. Knowledge of Host applications an asset
