Our Edmonton client is recruiting for an experienced Oracle Consultant who can lead an Oracle E-Business scoping and planning exercise. The successful candidate will be responsible for documenting an Oracle E-Business 12.2X upgrade approach, preparing an upgrade project plan and assisting our client with preparing a resource plan. In addition, the successful candidate will identify project functional and technical risks, mitigation plans and share best practices and general learnings from other Oracle E-Business 12.2X upgrades.

Position Description

• Scoping and planning Oracle E-Business upgrade.

Scope of Work

• Minimum six (6) years of professional experience with Oracle implementations or upgrades.
• Participated or led Oracle 12.2X upgrades.
• Experience with complex Oracle E-Business environments.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare project approaches and critical path based project plans.
• Understands the impacts of adopting the 12.2X technical stack including ADOP, and WebLogic.
• Excellent communication skills to document and describe the proposed upgrade approach, project risks, and critical successful factors.

Mandatory Skillset

• Recent role of E-Business technical lead, database administrator, or E-Business architect for an Oracle E-Business 12.2X upgrade in a complex technical environment.

Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Two weeks from the start of the contract
