We are currently hiring a machine repair shop assistant for a metal manufacturing/fabrication company in SE Rocky View County, Alberta. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity with a very competitive pay range of $25 to $27 per hour to start, in a fantastic company that is a leader in its field. You will be performing routine maintenance to ensure safe and optimum functioning equipment, and lifting up to 50lbs. Previous experience operating a shear machine is required, and you also need to have great manual dexterity, be able to learn quickly, be used to physical work lifting up to 50lbs, and have a positive ‘can-do attitude.The location is in SE Rocky View County, Alberta and is not transit accessible so a vehicle is required to get to work. Shift schedule: Monday to Friday, with most Saturdays. Shift starts from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
