WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
• Position can turn permanent with hard work and good attendance
• Straight day shift Monday-Friday (8-9 hour shifts falling somewhere between the hours of 8:30am-6:30pm)
• Starting wage of $16.60 per hour
• Company is accessible by transit and is located conveniently near highways 404 and 407.
• Relatively light work picking small products and preparing for shipment (some boxes may weigh as much as 40lbs, so you do need to be comfortable doing some heavier lifting during the shift)
• Great work culture with no micro management
Responsibilities
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
• Picking orders according to customer specifications
• Reading and comprehending order slips and other shipping documents
• Packing orders into boxes to prepare for shipment
• Stacking boxes onto pallets and wrapping completed skids
• Operating pallet lifters/pump trucks to move large shipments around the facility
• Using box cutters/utility knives to open/break down cardboard containers
• Other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
• Must have at least one year of experience in a similar role (picking/packing/shipping)
• Must have experience with Pallet Lifters/Pump Trucks
• Must be available to work a full time schedule between the hours of 8:30am and 6:30pm Monday-Friday
• Must have your own safety shoes
• Must be able to fluently read and write in English
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
• Must be able to pass a criminal record check
• Must have excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
• Must be a self starter who is able to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Must commit to maintaining excellent attendance and punctuality records
• Must be a team player who enjoys working with other people
