Responsibilities
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
⦿ Operating a motorized double pallet jack (training and certification provided in-house)
⦿ Picking products from pick slots using a digital picklist "Talkman" headset systems (training on Talkman systems provided)
⦿ Repeatedly lifting boxes or cases of product weighing up to 50lbs
⦿ Confidently and safely manually hoisting a variety of product boxes/cases as high as 6 feet off the ground
⦿ Building skids strategically based on product size and shape in order to insure structural integrity
⦿ Wrapping skids using wrapping machines and staging completed orders in the shipping dock area
⦿ Other related general warehouse duties as requested by management
Qualifications
WHAT REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET?
⦿ MUST have at least one year of warehousing experience (preference will be given to those who have order picking/selecting experience)
⦿ MUST be available to work a Tuesday-Saturday AFTERNOON shift from 3pm to 11pm with Sunday/Mondays off
⦿ MUST be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout an 8 hour shift
⦿ MUST be able to lift cases from floor to waist, floor to shoulders, and floor to over head (6 foot lifting requirement maximum)
⦿ MUST be able to successfully pass a physical abilities test
⦿ MUST be able to start work immediately after offer of employment is extended
⦿ MUST be comfortable working in both warm and cold environments (you may be put on a team working in the refrigerated part of the facility - temps range from 1°C to 8°C)
⦿ MUST have a clear criminal background check result (background checks run by the client and are required in order to be considered for hire)
