The ideal candidate will have a MINIMUM of 2 years working in the metal production environment.
This role is ONLY suited to an experienced and seasoned self-starter who is comfortable working with minimal training and supervision.
Advantages
-Monday to Friday
-Daytime hours 8:00am-4:30pm
-$20-$21/hour
-Benefits available at a reduced cost
-4% vacation pay on every cheque
-This role is cited to become permanent at the end of a successful contract, at that point generous company benefits will also be extended
Responsibilities
-loading, unloading and organizing of product
-shipping and receiving assistance
-forklift operation
-overhead crane operation
-preparation of orders
Qualifications
-Minimum 1 year overhead crane operation experience (recent)
-Must have at least 1 year of sit down counter-balance forklift operation experience (recent)
-Track record of attendance and reliability
-2 previous work references
-Steel toed safety shoes with met guards required, all other PPE provided
-Must have own reliable transportation - bus service not available
-Ability to work in a noisy, fast paced environment
-Ability to repetitively lift 50 lbs
