We are currently looking for a Bilingual Event Planner to support our client, a leading Canadian Telecommunications and Media company, in their Montreal QC office. In this role you will work full time hours on a 12 month assignment and earn $36/hr.

• Flexibility with work schedule is required. Business hours are from 8am to 5pm but some events can be held after regular hours
Responsibilities
•Plan and execute customer facing and internal events, including Bell presence at industry conferences from concept to execution, in collaboration with internal cross-functional teams, including identifying the right format for the event, engaging and managing internal and external providers, and developing event marketing strategies to drive attendance and ensure lead execution
•Act as the producer for live events, manage all presenters, complete technical checks, coordinate equipment delivery and coordinate all technical requirements with third party platform providers and agencies (as applicable)
•Project manage all aspects of the events and sponsorships to ensure we are meeting deadlines for internal review cycles, launch dates and third party vendor deadlines with exceptional attention to detail, while adhering to Brand guidelines and policies
•Coordinate and lead touch-points with all event and sponsorship stakeholders, people from all levels of the organization, agencies, third part vendors and strategic partners
•Create and manage event budget(s) to ensure they deliver within budget, providing regular budget updates to key stakeholders as required
•Coordinate all required creative assets and work cross-functionally with our internal designers
•Work cross-functionally to develop and draft event marketing materials such as event communications, landing pages and registration pages, social media plans, and event collateral
•Create event production documents including run of show and scripts
•Own all event reporting leading up to and including day-of the event, event registration, attendance and success measures following each event
Qualifications
•Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
•A minimum of 3 years’ experience planning events and executing marketing sponsorships
•Experienced in managing both complex and more intimate gatherings and virtual events
•Proven project management skills and experience in executing multiple event projects simultaneously
•Experience with project management tools (Monday.com, Asana) an asset
•An excellent communicator who enjoys presenting and has a penchant for editing copy
•Has boundless creativity and the ability to make every event experience valuable and exciting!
•Demonstrates extreme attention to detail and professionalism
•Has knowledge and experience with B2B marketing techniques, social media and industry trends
•Ability to work autonomously and within a team setting
•Ability to work evenings and weekends during peak periods of event execution
