    Our client is looking for two SAS Developers for a 12 months contract in Mississauga. This position is working a hybrid remote mode.

    Rotational Shifts: Monday-Friday

    Actively seeking candidates with below requirements.

    Responsibilities
    As a SAS Developer, your duties will include but not be limited to:
    Determining the scope and objectives of the system and ensure the technical feasibility of the requested changes as well as have an understanding of the business domain and industry requirements
    Analyzing, program and/or optimize SAS code
    Performing tests to confirm the expected results
    Deploying SAS programs in different environments
    Analyzing and revising the logic and documentation of existing systems under your responsibility
    Monitoring control mechanisms to ensure compliance with user needs and business imperatives.
    Making recommendations to optimize the efficiency of systems and processes
    Investigating and solving problems of various levels of complexity of an application or infrastructure nature
    Ensuring the integrity of computerized data and the stability of systems
    Monitoring production processes for the application portfolio
    Contributing to the maintenance and evolution of the SAS platform, access management and data security


    Qualifications


    Experience developing and supporting SAS programs
    Knowledge of SAS macros
    Knowledge of SAS system administration
    Experience in databases
    In-depth knowledge of SQL
    Knowledge of Unix, Linux
    Professional rigor, meticulousness and interpersonal skills
    Experience in Agile/Scrum
    Knowledge of programming statistical models

    Nice to Haves:

    Experience with python is a plus
    Bilingual is nice to have
