We are currently looking for a Billingual Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our client, a leading accounting and assurance firm, working remotely while in support of their Montreal office. In this role you will work full time hours on a 3-4 month assignment, and earn a pay rate of $26.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
As a Bilingual Accounts Receivables Specialist your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
o Maintain and build internal and external client relationships by providing exceptional
client service
o Commit to outstanding client service by proactively connecting and building rapport with
both internal and
o external clients
o Assist with resolving complex client issues and suggest favourable solutions
o Liaise with clients either in person, by telephone, or correspondence to resolve
outstanding queries and establish agreed timescales for payment.
o Assist partners and staff with ongoing queries, highlighting progress to date.
o Implement our collection management procedures in a professional and diplomatic
manner, to maximize recovery and minimize debt.
o Assist with monthly reports and spreadsheet analysis to enable Partners to track monies
received and debts outstanding.
o Negotiate and agree terms of payment with clients to recover payment in a timely
manner.
o Reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), which we refer to as “Net Investment Days
Outstanding” (NIDO), in accordance with agreed terms of business, to maximize recovery
and improve bottom line performance.
o Track and monitor payments received appraising Partners on recovery rates/work in
progress, indicating what action has been taken to recover the debts.
o Liaise with third party suppliers in the event of non - payment, to instigate legal
proceedings.
o Maximize team performance by optimizing skills and providing cover for team members
during busy periods and vacation.
Qualifications
• Minimum 3+ years working in an Accounts Receivable role for a large firm
• Previous experience working in a Professional Services Firm preferred
• Experience with Google Suite – Must have
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Candidates need to be tech savvy and able to pick up new systems quickly
• High school diploma required. A post-secondary education is an asset
• Bilingual (English/French) is a must
• Understands ethical behavior and business practices and ensures own behavior and the behavior of others are consistent with these standards and align with the values of the organization.
• Ability to manage high volume of tasks • Execute duties with significant attention to detail and maintain high quality standards.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Communicates regularly and professionally with internal colleagues
• Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with others both internally and externally to achieve the goals of the organization.
