Responsibilities
As a Bilingual Document Specialist, your responsibilities will be:
•Processing New Business documents and/or revisions of documents per established service standards
•Processing documents using prescribed/department tools and workspaces
•Using Microsoft Word to implement changes and updates to documents
•Ensuring documents include correct spelling/grammar
•Preparing/packaging/publishing completed documents (for delivery to clients)
•Ensuring safeguarding of those documents deemed “sensitive” in nature
•Assisting in document configuration management
•Maintaining the departmental write-up database/repository
•Responding to inquiries from internal business partners
•Interpreting a customer’s GB plan design details and seeking clarification, as needed, to ensure the "right" outcome/customer satisfaction
•Investigating and resolving escalated issues or complaints
Qualifications
•Bilingualism (French, English) required- interactions with English-speaking customers or partners
•Degree or diploma in Communications, Technical Writing, Literature, or a combination of acceptable work experience
•Experience in editing and revising documents
•Experience in formatting documents
•Experience in a service admin role
•Analytical, organized and a self-starter
•Attention to details
•Ability to multi-task to achieve delivery dates
•Effective issue or problem resolution skills
•Ability to work in a team setting; also able to work independently
•Superior verbal and written communication skills; ability to "talk with a customer"
•Ability to work under pressure, meet customer needs and adapt to a changing environment
