Responsibilities
As a Bilingual Project Procurement Manager, your duties will include:
•Ensuring the early involvement of Procurement.
•Applying procurement regulations as per Compliance and organization standards.
•Analyzing scope of supply, contractual obligations and exactly understand customer’s functional needs.
•Identifying particular Procurement risks, opportunities, potential changes, claims and market forces during the entire project.
•Supporting project calculation with reliable and up-to-data cost data.
•Deriving Procurement strategies for assigned projects
•Leading contractual and price negotiations for particular material fields to secure project targets with optimum conditions.
•Ensuring that mitigation of Procurement risks, changes to original scope of supply and potential claims are covered in valid contracts.
•Clarifying internal indicators for project controlling and compiling all relevant information to submit qualified reports.
Qualifications
•Fluent Bilingual French and English speaking required. Needs to have the ability to negotiate contracts in French.
•SCM: has 5+ years’ experience in a supply chain related position, preferably in a complex project environment
•Negotiations: able to independently prepare and carry out complex negotiations
•Contract Management: knows and understands contract templates and is able to apply/adjust them to more complex contract situations
Nice to have:
•Sector: experience in the Energy Sector is an asset but not a must
