Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for a Bilingual Service Officer for a 12 month contract in Montreal. This is hybrid role. There is a high possibility of contract extension and conversion to full time role.
Pay rate: $25.00/ Hour
Candidate will be working full time from the office during the training period for three months.
His shift during this training period will be always Mon to Fri from 8:00 to 4:15
After three months the officer will start the hybrid model 3 days working on site from 8:00 to 4:15 PM, two days working from home 8:45 to 5:00 PM shift.

Responsibilities
As a Bilingual Service Officer, your duties will include:
•Receiving files from credit analyst, preparing all required documents, sending to responsible area
•Operating data entry devices, such as a keyboard or computer, to verify and input data.
•Reading source documents for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners.
•Compiling, sorting and verifying the accuracy of data before it is entered.
•Locating and correcting data entry errors, or report them to supervisors.
•Comparing data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors.
•Maintaining logs of activities and completed work.
Qualifications
•Bilingual - must be fully bilingual in French and English (read, write, speak)
•2-4 years related experience required
•Admin background - able to work in a changing environment, work through administrative tasks, documentation – 2years
•High school diploma or GED required.
•MS Office – all suites including Excel (set formulas and programs)
•Flexibility (adjust based on task)/ Multitask/Critical thinking
•Strong Communication Skills – communicating with partners, verbal and written skills
•Technical skills include documentation skills and time management.
•Attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work independently and manage ones time.
•Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
•Completion of a speed and accuracy data entry test (May be required).
Nice to have:
•Banking experience
•Logical/pragmatic thinking – putting documents together logically
•Financial background: financial/accounting/ bookkeeping background : for lingo
