ial prosperity for all Canadians. Working cross functionally you will help support the creation of engaging content that drives traffic organically to our website. The ability to work cross functionally is critical in this role. This position is best suited for someone with a strong balance of writing and editing skills, SEO optimization and keyword research, and editorial project management.
In this role you will work full time hours on a 18 month assignment, working hybrid and earning a pay rate of $26.20 per hour.

Responsibilities
• Manage the editorial calendar day to day and production workflow of all our blog content
• Support the editorial process: track assignments, documents, and help ensure articles stay on track and deadlines are met
• Prepare content briefs for our network of writers and agency; edit and optimize articles
• Support SEO & Content Strategy Lead with invoicing and billing (as needed)
• Work with our tax experts to develop factually correct content that follows brand guidelines such as blog posts, videos and infographics
• Research, fact-check, and proofread stories with the support of our content agency
• Publish articles using our content management system (WordPress) and keep them up to date as needed
• Participate in ideation sessions with the SEO and content team and support the development of yearly strategy (as needed)
• Optimize existing content on the TurboTax blog for SEO, conversion rates, based on keyword research, SEO knowledge, and external agency recommendations
• Gather, analyze and present data on content performance
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• 2-3 years of content, editorial and project management experience in a personal finance or tech environment. Bonus points for experience in both worlds!
• Strong written and verbal communications skills with strong attention to detail
• Project management and organization skills: You can simultaneously manage the production workflow for multiple pieces of content
• Resourcefulness: You can tackle anything from article updates to campaign projects with minimal direction, and you consistently deliver polished work.
• Solid SEO Skills: Understanding how to optimize web content for search engine visibility
• Customer-obsessed: You can put yourself in the customer’s shoes and leverage customer insights to inform your thinking
• A portfolio and/or links to past content or SEO work
• Bonus points: if you’re bilingual and can communicate, write and edit content in French
