Responsibilities
As a Dividends Clerk, your duties will include but not be limited to:
● Performing clerical duties as necessary, such as preparing reports requiring specialized procedures, answering phone calls, bookkeeping, completing routine forms and maintaining records and filing, etc.
● Communicating with employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate
or explain information, and address complaints
● Compiling, copying, sorting, and filing records of business transactions and other activities
● Computing, recording and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports
● Maintaining and updating, filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems
Qualifications
● Good P.C. technical skills
● Proficient in MS Excel and intermediate MS access skills.
● Ideally some knowledge of Dividends & Fixed income
● Previous experience with Reconciliation process
● Basic knowledge of Income allocation & Canadian tax reporting
● Proficiency in MS Excel and Intermediate MS access skills
● Problem solving skills and willingness to take initiative
● Excellent organizational and time management skills
● High client service focus
● Strong communication/analytical skills
● Excellent organizational & time management skills
Nice to Haves:
● Completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC).
