    We are currently looking for individuals to join our client, one of Canada's largest insurance and financial services companies, as an Email Marketing Specialist.

    The Email Marketing Specialist manages dynamic email marketing campaigns targeted to advisors and consumers and provides leadership and email best practice advice to key internal stakeholders and business partners.

    Responsibilities
    As an Email Marketing Specialist, your duties will include but not be limited to:
    • Leading B2B and B2C email marketing initiatives and white label Sponsor communications
    • Managing and executing consumer and advisor focused email marketing initiatives
    • Managing expectations of internal stakeholders and ensure timely execution of email marketing initiatives
    • Acting as the business liaison with the Email Service Provider, understanding their technology offering and enabling business partners to fully leverage the platform
    • Increasing email engagement using A/B and MVT methodologies
    • Testing - from basic subject line tests to more complex, algorithmic experiments
    • Identifying opportunities for continual improvement in digital marketing efforts
    • Working closely with Branding, Communications and Technology teams
    • Assist with training and support for email marketing efforts with internal stakeholders from across Canadian division

    Qualifications
    •3 to 5 years of experience in financial services marketing, product management and/or communications and eager to develop knowledge and skills
    •Knowledge of Investment products (mutual funds, ETFs)
    •Proven project management background with demonstrated ability to deliver with accuracy and timeliness
    •Solid PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong analytical abilities
    •Understanding of and interest in digital marketing practices, including social media
    •Strong writing and editing ability, with a keen eye for detail
    •Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects and tactics at any given time
    •Developed relationship management skills
    •Inspiring commitment, persistence, and curiosity
    •Sound business acumen, judgment and decision-making
    •Comfortable challenging technical and interpersonal environments
    •Adept strategic thinker
    •Strong communication and influencing skills, consulting skills and digital and social media skills

    Nice to have:
    •Knowledge of industry-related software and databases (Morningstar Direct/Advisor Workstation) an asset
    •Bilingualism (English and French both spoken and written) a preferred asset
