Responsibilities
• Preparation of conference rooms for meetings of various sizes.
• Clean-up of meeting rooms after meetings.
• Regular testing of AV equipment in all meeting rooms
• Regular checks and inspections of work areas to ensure stations are functional
• Conduct floor inspections
• Clean-up of common areas on staff floors
• Provide technical support and on-site assistance for events.
• Assist the Ops team with other administrative tasks as such as scanning documents, sorting and delivering mail/courier shipments and preparing printed materials
• Liaise with building staff and contractors for repairs and maintenance
• Promptly respond to and resolve internal maintenance requests through internal requisition systems
• Ability to perform physical tasks are required. Continual standing and physical movement are a large aspect of this position
Qualifications
• High school diploma required.
• Previous experience working in a Professional Services Firm an asset
Technical Skills
• Experience with Google Suite – an asset
• Experience with Microsoft Office – an asset
• Experience with AV equipment and multimedia platforms – an asset
Other Skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, customer service oriented
• Listening skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the team, other staff and customers
• Ability to adapt, meet tight deadlines, multitask and be flexible
• Ability to reorganize work according to changing priorities
• Comfortable with basic software functionalities as well as with technology and the ability to adapt, learn and invest in continuing education
• Experience with office furniture repair/installation – an asset
• Detail-focused with the ability to complete tasks with limited supervision
• Exhibits professionalism
