Responsibilities
As a File Clerk you will be responsible for:
• Transportation of boxes using manually operated lift truck
• Removing boxes from skids
• Noting the condition of the box and match with a box manifest that outline the content of the boxes
• Using a Handheld scanner, scan the barcode associated with the box
• Separating out and preparing files (Remove paper clips, staples, and rubber bands, Remove post it notes, Remove creases in paper, Unfold folded sheets, Outsort oversized documents, etc)
● Operate scanning equipment and software.
●Using a PC, input 9-12 digit or alphanumberic numbers for cataloguing files
● Conducting quality checks on own work to ensure accuracy and required standards
Qualifications
• Experience in Production Role (high volume of work in a repetitive environment)
• Able to work shifts
• Pass Security clearances (Criminal Record)
• Works Diligently and completes tasks in a timely fashion
• Works accurately and with a high level of quality
• Able to listen and communicate effectively in French (English is a nice to have)
• Able to read, write and follow basic French instructions
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and operate a manual lift truck
• Basic computer skills (keyboard, handheld scanner, mouse functions)
