Responsibilities
As a Financial Analyst, your responsibilities will be:
•Preparing, distributing comprehensive reporting templates to the business lines for the monthly, quarterly and annual planning processes.
•Analyzing information reported by the business units.
•Consolidating business unit data, explain variance and draft commentaries.
•Preparing reporting packages presented in finance meetings.
•Validating Supplementary Financial Information prior to release.
•Compiling rating agency surveys and Year-end Regulatory Reporting.
•Maintain financial controls
•Process improvements and project work
•Preparing ad-hoc analysis as required.
Qualifications
•University degree with major in Accounting or Finance
•3-5 years financial analysis/accounting work experience
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to gather, synthesize, organize and report information
•Strong MS Office and excellent Excel skills
•Must be detail-oriented, well-organized with good communication skills
•Ability to multi-task and work under pressure during critical reporting periods
•Autonomous and works well in a time
•Enhanced Reliability Clearance is required
Nice to have:
•Working knowledge of MS Access
•Experience in a diverse system environment, including accounting systems such as Oracle and mainframe applications.
•Knowledge of financial services industry and/or insurance business processes and products
