Responsibilities
• Lead consultant that has expert experience in Fixed Income e-trading in various asset classes of
bonds, including Rates and Credit
• Lend expert industry experience to Canadian bank that is beginning on a strategic roadmap to
automate RFQ handling, increase auto-quoting, and automate hedging
• Experience in Canadian sectors of bonds is a nice to have, but not a must, similar experience in
global bank dealing with regional sovereign bonds an asset (i.e. Canadian Govt/Provincial bonds)
• Experience at a tier 1 or tier 2 global bank specific to electronification of asset classes
• Help define technical roadmap to achieve business goals of electronification and auto-hedging
• Expert knowledge of trader workflows and a keen eye and appreciation for speed improvements
in fast moving markets
• Work with senior business and tech leader to critique and build upon roadmap
Qualifications
• Must have 7-10+ years in Fixed Income trading technology
• Must have experience in e-trading in capital markets space, in any asset class
• Must have expert business analysis skills and familiar with sell-side bank infrastructure, vendors,
and industry
• Electronic trading platforms experience (Ion, broadway, internally developed e-trading platform)
• Must be willing to travel (New York - Toronto)
Soft Skills:
• Strong communicator
• Easy to work with
• Comfortable with speaking with business leaders
• Must be able to interact regularly with Front Office, Developers and be able to switch
dynamically interact with various types of people
