    We are currently looking for individuals to join our client, one of Canada's largest insurance and financial services companies, as a Group Benefits Plan Setup Assistant.
    This role is open to candidates in Atria or Waterloo, remotely from home.


    Advantages

    - Working days: Monday – Friday, 8AM or 8:30 AM to 4:30 or 5 PM
    - 3-month contract
    - Pay Rate: $18.60 /hr

    - August 29th, 2022 start date

    Workers placed through Randstad are eligible for preferred rates on health, dental, and life insurance. This Value-add program will provide a wide range of options to suit your needs.


    Responsibilities
    As a Group Benefits Plan Setup Assistant, your duties will include:
    •Entering client-supplied custom content into a company application which will be seen and used by plan members for the administration of their group benefits plan
    •Requesting and preparing updates to team members
    •Tracking and logging to support measurements and workflow management
    •Participating actively, including the implementation of, process improvements for on team projects
    •Conducting testing and quality assurance steps
    •Willing to step outside of defined parameters to provide support wherever needed on short notice
    •Updating AEM (Adobe software), Unit Testing, attending meetings.


    Qualifications
    •Secondary School Diploma
    •Advanced PC knowledge including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    •Excellent communication skills
    •Excellent organizational skills
    •Flexibility in managing a varied and often challenging, quickly changing workload
    •Ability to recognize task demands and deadlines and prioritize accordingly
    •Resourceful at problem solving and continually improve job processes and procedures
    •Ability to work independently, or as part of a team

    Nice to have:
    •Knowledge of company operating environment, group products and business unit interactions
