Responsibilities
As a Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for:
• Partnering with with assigned Business Unit leadership teams, hiring managers, and HR Business Partners to gain a proven understanding of strategic objectives and job requirements
• Driving the recruitment process to attain high quality talent and hiring manager engagement, including screening, interviewing and offer processing using the Avature Applicant Tracking System
• Establishing a deep understanding in assigned speciality area including knowledge of the energy business, industry, markets, and associations
• Applying multiple creative techniques to proactively identify and attract passive talent through low cost/no cost sources such as professional networks (LinkedIn), employee referrals, and job postings
• Promoting inclusion by ensuring diverse candidate pools for all positions
• Assessing candidates by conducting phone screens and/or video interviews (live and on-demand), document feedback and ensure follow-up with hiring managers
Qualifications
• 2+ years of full cycle recruitment experience in an in-house recruiting role
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
• Experience working with high volume hourly, manufacturing, and/or skilled-labour positions required
• Experience in sourcing and networking with candidates via multiple social media platforms and channels such as LinkedIn
• Excellent communication skills
• Tech savvy and experience in using applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office suite
