Responsibilities
As the Marketing Operations Planner, you will oversee the operations and processes required to help our team execute consumer and retail marketing. In this role, you will assist in product launches, seasonal campaigns, and more across our portfolio of devices (Pixel, Nest, Chromecast and more). In addition, you will support our team with quarterly planning, budget management, and cross-functional approvals, helping the team adhere to process and streamlining the way we work.
● Lead the operational planning for all product launch readiness, including work-back schedules, calendaring, briefing documents, and status updates.
● Own liaising with global planning teams, getting project updates and feeding back Canada’s needs on a timely manner.
● Lead the process and multiple stakeholders (including agency and vendor partners) that localize all marketing assets, helping internal teams bring final consumer and retail marketing assets to external partners.
● Manage and support marketing finance deliverables from opening purchase orders, processing statement of work, budget tracker and budget dashboard balancing, and invoice queries.
● Manage all non-commercial units (NCU) planning, ordering, and fulfillment for product seeding and retail environments across Canada.
Qualifications
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience working in marketing operations or project management
Desired Qualifications:
- Organized project manager with extreme attention to detail
- Experience with process improvement, project management, and executions
- Ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with structured thinking
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
