Responsibilities
• Troubleshooting functional and performance issues, and document root cause and remediation steps.
• Checking and documenting daily health status
• Designing and writing scripts to automate repetitive functions.
• Diagnosing and fixing production issues and engaging other teams as required.
• Performing configuration changes in production which may include onsite datacenter visits as required, ensuring that the bank’s change management policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Performing and coordinating application deployments into the various test environments
• Maintaining technical documentation (e.g. training, troubleshooting, deployment procedures).
• Escalation to vendor and/or application SMEs when necessary.
• Performing version upgrade planning and deployment to meet currency requirements.
• Participating in design reviews
Qualifications
•Experience with engineering & deployment of software defined network segmentation using the Guardicore Centra technology as a comprehensive security solution to hybrid cloud platforms.
•Evolve traditional firewall enforcement to Software defined Micro-Segmentation technology and onboard business critical application.
•Hands on experience with on-prem/SaaS cloud environments such as VMware ESX 6.x and 7.x networking, automation, patching (Virtual Servers, Bare Metal, Public Cloud, Containers).
•General and broad knowledge of operating systems, databases, and application infrastructure and server OS (Windows, Linux, AIX, UNIX, Ubuntu)
•Extensive knowledge on traditional perimeter firewalls (Palo Alto, Panorama, NSX-V/NSX-T, Tufin).
•Familiarity with Information Global and Regional Security Compliance (PCI, ISO 27002, NIST).
•Implement tools and design processes that help improve monitoring and security posture and less exposure for lateral movement.
•Ability to use HPSA, scripts, APIs and demonstrate expertise to create automation and self-service portals.
•Solid experience with proactive alerting and integration with ServiceNow CMDB, Splunk, Webhook, Grafana.
•Standardization, automation, and operationalization of micro-segmentation deployments.
•Work well under guidance and direction, but fully independent in own work.
•Provide intake and incident resolution.
•Provide skills and knowledge transfer.
•Proven ability to collaborate across a large organization.
