Responsibilities
- As a Category Lead (Procurement Analyst) the contractor will manage and execute on end -to-end sourcing opportunities, as required, to drive cost savings and process efficiencies; and strong contract negotiation experience.
- This role is within the Canadian Wealth, Commercial Banking, Capital Markets & Infrastructure Procurement Team, and will focus on a broad range of spend categories.
- The contractor will execute and implement sourcing initiatives within the relevant expenditure categories
Qualifications
-4 Years' experience in a Procurement, Category Management role
- 4 years’ experience drafting contracts and working closely with LEGAL resources
- Experience in a highly regulated environment, preferably a large Canadian Financial Institution
- Must be a university/college graduate
- Experience negotiating SaaS/Application Solution Procurement contracts
- Procurement tools – SAP, Oracle, Coupa
Soft Skills:
- Collaborative and autonomous
- Strong relationship builder
- A strong problem-solving focus mitigating any risks
- Excellent budget management skills
- Excellent Project Management skills
