Responsibilities
As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:
• Managing, coordinating and supporting RFx and contract renewal activities.
• Collaborating with internal teams to review contracts and drive negotiation results.
• Owning strategic sourcing responsibilities across assigned CoRe Procurement categories.
• Identifying opportunities to reduce spend by driving more category-level sourcing events.
• Advising and solutioning with senior level personnel on procurement and/or contracting strategy
Qualifications
Required:
· 3 years of relevant work experience in a Procurement role preferably in a global procurement capacity
· Experience in managing, coordinating or supporting RFx activities.
· Experience with contract negotiations a must
· Ability to collaborate and influence senior level stakeholders in all US time zones is required.
· Must be able to work independently, with an ability to interact and build consensus among people.
· A team player, have strong analytical skills and be able to work under tight time constraints.
· Must be organized with excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
Additional Skills:
· Experience with the strategic procurement process in a large, decentralized environment.
· Experience working on a virtual team.
· Flexible with ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.
· Personal interest and a willingness to stay abreast of trends and disruptive technology is highly desired.
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, required. Knowledge of Visio and Project preferred.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in business or related) and at least 2 years of experience in Procurement in a large corporate environment.
