Responsibilities
• Provide on-going production support of various trading applications/ database / order routing / drop copy / market data problems /batch jobs, application releases, incident management
• Working closely with DEV/QA team for bug fix/new implementation and follow change management process for PROD roll out
• Liaise with front office sales/trading, trade business management, network, back office teams, and OMS/EMS vendors to deliver bespoke connectivity and routing solutions that meet client operational requirements
• Understand client's FIX requirements and business objectives, define, configure, and deliver solutions that meet these requirements.
• Setup FIX sessions and performing FIX certification with external party (OMS/EMS vendors exchanges, brokers etc..)
• Manage the on-boarding of new clients, liaising with trading desk, other internal teams to provide legendary service to our client
• Providing on-demand support/troubleshooting for trading desks and working closely with external vendors to resolve issue (e.g. order reject, not routing properly, etc..)
• Create and maintain a knowledge base, support scripts, documentation and procedures
• Strive to improve production environment stability by working with others to set up, maintain and monitor applications and systems, while meeting availability targets.
• Provide prompt, effective day-to-day support, accurately identify and resolve issues, perform controlled and timely incident resolution all while making client satisfaction a top priority.
• Improve performance and resource utilization by assessing and analyzing opportunities to optimize the operational environment.
• Follow established processes/standards, business technology architecture, risk and production capacity guidelines; plan, monitor and escalate issues as required.
• Identify/implement process improvements to enhance revenue, customer experience and reduce costs.
Qualifications
1.) Technical Analyst experience – 8 years
2.) Production support experience for equity & options electronic trading – 2 years
3.) Experience in FIX protocol – 2 years
4.) Production support experience of OMS (Order Management System – 2 years
5.) Unix and SQL – 2 years
6.) Monitoring tools – 2 years
7.) Change management – 2 years
8.) Electronics equity trading experience – 2 years
