Responsibilities
As a Receptionist, your duties will include but not be limited to:
●Handling basic Customer inquiries
●Answering general questions regarding bank locations, hours, products and services from Customers and other Bank personnel, or refer them to the appropriate department where they will obtain a timely and accurate answer
●Screening calls not immediately identifiable by questioning callers regarding the service, department, or individual involved
●Ensuring Customer issues are handled appropriately, escalating issues when necessary
●Keeping an up-to-date directory of telephone numbers throughout the bank
●Relaying incoming and outgoing calls
●Performing the following: Sort, stamp, and distribute mail, maintain records and files, send, receive and distribute faxes, arrange meetings and appointments, file and photocopy as needed, type memos and assist with mailings
●Prioritizing own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity
●Understanding and applying operating policies and procedures
●Supporting the timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures
●Escalating non-standard or high-risk activities as necessary
●Supporting and participating in process improvement opportunities
●Ensuring necessary due diligence to support the accuracy of all transactions / activities
●Being knowledgeable of and comply with Bank Code of Conduct
Qualifications
●High school diploma or equivalent required
●Organized - Ability to keep information organized and confidential
●Attention to detail
●Minimum 1 year in customer services/admin
●Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills
●Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
●Previous experience with computer applications - Outlook, Teams
