Responsibilities
Main responsibility will be to help the Company Archer Support team stay on top of priorities
and issues. The Business Systems Consultant – Archer, will use their knowledge of business
objectives, processes, products, technology and quality concepts to:
Conduct business analysis activities for the Archer Audit/Risk/Compliance support
team in Corporate IT at Client
Partner with business, IT and 3rd party vendors to ensure the successful delivery of
quality solutions on the Archer platform
Plan and manage the Archer business requirements effort required to support
business needs
Participate in Archer project activities from initiation, roadmap creation, estimating,
work planning, analysis, design, construction, testing support, deployment and post-
implementation activities
Demonstrate flexibility and a flair for learning new technologies as you champion the
Archer BSA project and support activities through the CAS Transformation into a more
data-focused, agile Digital Enterprise
Provide Business Analysis activities in support of the Company Audit/Risk/Compliance
Archer team
Elicit, document, examine and manage business requirements on projects. This involves
managing business requirement sessions, conducting interviews and leveraging existing
documentation
Understand relationships and facilitate the communication between the business and
technology areas
Coordinate and facilitate business requirements gathering sessions, gap analysis, risk
assessment and business requirements validation
Translate business requirements into functional requirements. Ensure traceability and
understanding of the requirements by all project/support members
Engage IT resources such as architects, designers, developers, and the testing team at
the appropriate times throughout the project lifecycle
Identify project risks and work with PM to assess and identify BSA/BSC resource
requirements
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of IT practice experience on the Archer platform
Must have the ability to communicate on this (Archer) subject matter intelligibly with
all levels including senior (AVP) business and IT partners
Ability to see the big picture, identifying risks and opportunities across the Archer
domain
Strong collaborator with a proven record of success working in a team environment
Customer and results focused: ability to work with clients to understand and act based
on their needs, assess risks, and achieve a valued result
Adaptable: maintains effectiveness while managing competing demands, dealing with
frequent change, delays or unexpected events
Judgment: Uses sound and accurate judgment, makes timely decisions and readily
communicates the reasons behind them.
Strong communication skills: able to understand and accurately interpret the meaning,
purpose and importance of verbal and written messages.
Analysis: ability to break down high level business requirements into more detail by
questioning and probing for clarification
Deliverables: proven ability to produce project documentation including - but not
limited to: business, functional/non-functional, and user requirement documents,
process and data maps, use cases, traceability matrices, report specifications,
implementation and test plans
Innovative: looks for new, sometimes unconventional approaches to successful
delivery
Teamwork: Enables and inspires others, assists members of the project team to meet
common goals and timelines, works closely with and supports the Project Manager to
deliver on time and on budget
Facilitation: ability to guide and keep a group on track, recognize issues that need to be
dealt with, and ensure everyone is heard, guide the group through collaborative
decision-making to achieve team goals
Assets:
Familiarity with JAMA requirement management tool
Familiarity with Confluence and JIRA Cloud
