Responsibilities
Owns end-to-end initiative delivery ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget and within the required quality.
Work closely with the Sponsors and Executive Sponsors to define the project delivery approach, from project initiation to implementation.
Work closely with the Security Architecture on ensuring that a sound and future proof architecture is planned, and its implementation meets the technical quality standards.
Ensures that appropriate organization, governance, decision making, and delivery structures are in place to drive outcomes articulated in the business case, business requirements, and defined charter.
Ensures that standard and best practice for project management processes is applied to plan and execute initiatives with high complexity and risk.
Develop project plans that effectively align scope, time, cost, quality, resources, risk, communication, and procurement in a manner that enables highly coordinated execution and control.
Perform regular delivery risk reviews and support the project teams with escalations and resolutions as required.
Collaborates with the SRC Business Office and Sourcing on vendor contracting and management.
Responsible for governance of project budgets, working closely with the Security, Risk and Crisis Management Business Office and IT Finance.
Ensures IT software delivery meets high quality standards.
Ensures operational readiness is in place and any transition to operations teams takes place.
Establish project structure and reporting relationships.
Ensure that everybody understands the project goals and roles and responsibilities, encouraging good working relationships among all project team members and motivated to resolve conflicts
Qualifications
5+ years of project management experience, or similar accreditation
Strong Domain exposure to Information Security and Cyber Security
Working knowledge of Physical Security and Physical Access Control practices
Demonstrated ability to lead large initiatives with multiple functional and technical capabilities
Experience working in Lean / Agile / Scrum methodologies for enterprise IT delivery.
Mixture of strong business acumen and project delivery skills.
Managing and developing high performing project teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively work with senior stakeholders.
Experience managing projects which involve 3rd party managed services.
Experience in leading global stakeholder projects.
Experience in managing customer expectations when leading projects.
Effective problem-solving skills.
Ability to resolve conflicting situations.
Ability to plan and manage multiple initiatives.
Strong working knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Powerpoint and Excel
Strong sense of “Team.”
