    Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for a Service Officer for a 10 month contract in Toronto. This is hybrid role, 2 out of 4 weeks in office or could be few days per week, depending on business needs. Must be flexible with going into office. There is high possibility of contract extension depends on performance and business needs and convert to permanent opportunity.
    Pay rate: $20/Hour
    Rotational shifts: Monday – Friday, 8:30AM to 5:00PM or 9:00 – 5:30

    Responsibilities
    As a Service Officer, your duties will include but not be limited to:
    •Reporting to the Team Manager of Internal Processing team.
    •Processing internal transfers between companies Waterhouse accounts.
    •Processing transactions accurately and on time;
    •Escalating processing issues where necessary to ensure a high level of service is maintained
    •Serving clients as required – adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLA) and internal service delivery standards;
    •Following firm and industry regulations and operating practices in completing and recording transactions for either the firm or clients;
    •Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and support process improvement initiatives.
    •Prioritizing and managing own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity
    •Ensuring documentation prepared/completed is accurate and properly reflects client/business intentions and is consistent with relevant rules/regulations
    •Accessing systems, know and apply system capabilities, ensure upload/download of information is completed timely and accurately
    •Assisting in analysis, development, testing, and implementation of operating and process improvements


    Qualifications
    •Post-Secondary education required/University degree is a must, Business related major is an asset
    •High school education required with 1-3 years’ experience.
    •2-4 years of related experience.
    •Working knowledge of wealth management industry, including product knowledge i.e. different account types and their functionality
    •Commitment to client service excellence
    •High level of attention to detail required
    •Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with the teams and partners.
    •Knowledge of ISM/Baycom/CIF/EATS/EIS/Microsoft Office/Transfer process will be an asset.
    •Must be highly motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills.
    •Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    •Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks at once
    •Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information
    •Previous financial/banking experience

    Nice to have skills:
    •Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is an asset
    •Creating Macros, experience with VBA
    •Knowledge of ISM/Baycom/CIF/EATS/EIS/Microsoft Office/Transfer process will be an asset.
