Responsibilities
• Review incoming requests from business and technical stakeholders for enhancements and
maintenance activities on the ServiceNow platform
• Facilitate discovery sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive
requirements discovery and analysis
• Document business solutions using enterprise-standard requirements methodology (Visio
process flows, use case diagrams, process documentation)
• Liaise with developers and help transition business requirements into technical requirements
that can be built upon
• Assist in evaluation of partner solutions and requirements to ensure that the requirement
adhere to team standards
• Develop functional system test cases and support test case documentation that has full
coverage of the critical requirements
• Coordinate and execute actual QA tests while tracking results and any end-to-end issues, and
communicating status/outcome to stakeholders and/or project leaders
• Support UAT and PIV activities including planning, defect triage, and root-cause analysis for
requirements-related issues
• Act as a QA representative on complex application development or maintenance projects and
hold demos as needed
• Help build and maintain a repository of team documentation that will be used to mature the
team
Qualifications
• 3+ years’ experience with ServiceNow
• 5+ years’ experience as a business analyst
• 3 + years’ experience with ITIL or ITSM best practices or procedures
• 3 + years’ experience with various project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative
and/or Agile
• Post-secondary degree in IT, computer science or relevant area
Nice-to-have Skills:
• Certified Scrum Master
• PMP Certification
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with team members and stakeholders
• Motivated self-starter who can manage multiple priority projects/initiatives at the same time
• Ability to resolve blockers using persuasion and influence with stakeholders
• Detail oriented and organized to ensure proper tracking and updates are provided for ongoing
work
• Able to easily adapt to change with shifting work priorities
