Responsibilities
You will be responsible for business analysis activities on a large scale, high priority,
data migration project, including all aspects of requirements gathering, analysis and data
mapping.
Facilitate collaborative sessions with diverse business stakeholder groups to drive
requirements discovery, analysis, and review
Assist in the development of plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirement
work packages
Lead requirements prioritization, data analysis and document detailed data mapping
requirements.
Verify requirements for quality and validate requirements with the impacted stakeholders
Support Business and IT program management team as required by ensuring priorities
are understood and IT teams are equipped with detailed information in order to develop
and test solutions effectively and as per expectations
Ensure all IT development is properly tested; Reviewing UAT test cases completed by IT
and execute some BAT test cases, and by providing requirements clarifications and root-
cause analysis
Minor data backfill responsibilities to support overall IT migration plan.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business System Analyst with
a proven ability to articulate complex requirements and functionality to business and IT
stakeholders
Experience in the application of Agile methodology
Experience in data mapping between systems for large migration initiative
Undergraduate degree with a focus in Economics, Accounting, Finance or other
quantitative fields
Ability to collect, analyse, interpret and query data using excel and SQL
Very strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a logical mind-set
Excellent communication skills – clear and concise oral, written and presentation abilities
Inherent sense of ownership and initiative
Proven relationship-building skills to create, maintain and enhance relationships with
internal and/or external partners
Must be able to deal with high pressure project, Inherent sense of ownership and
initiative, Must be able to work closely with our Global Credit IT team, and be an
excellent communicator
Data Migration projects
Banking industry exp. (credit systems would be great)
Nice-to-have:
An understanding of corporate lending processes
A love of innovation and technology
