Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30-5, 2 15 minute breaks and 1 hr lunch

Responsibilities
As a Tax Accountant, your duties will include but not be limited to:
•Performing QC on newly produced work
•Creating duplicate tax slips and create amended tax slips. Maintaining the records for investors of various Investment Companies that offer investments such as Mutual, Segregated and Pooled Funds.
•Reporting is provided to unit-holders, all in accordance with government policies, tax laws and national policies
Qualifications
•Strong attention to detail
•Highly motivated, detailed, and deadline orientated
•Strong team player, resolute for team’s success
•Committed to ‘First Time Right’ quality initiative
•Able to quickly learn new concepts and processes
•Able to multi-task and prioritize with varied functions and workload
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills (French is a definite asset)
•Ability to work overtime – during the week and on weekends
Nice to have:
•Funds industry experience required
•Knowledge of Unitrax record keeping system preferred
•Understanding of registered products desired
•Knowledge of CRA and RQ tax slips
