Responsibilities
Room Configurations
• Set up all function rooms according to instructions and standards (attention to detail)
o All powered tables are connected and in working order
o Whiteboards are cleaned and equipped with erasers/markers
o Flipcharts have stands
o Catering tables & linen
• Maintain proper care, movement, and storage of all equipment
• Maintain and control all meeting room supplies such as whiteboard markers
• Flag deficiencies to Vancouver Facilities; this includes marks on the walls, carpet cleaning, damaged furniture
• Service meetings rooms that do not require set ups or configurations
• Frequent walkthrough of spaces to ensure cleanliness of spaces (dirty dishes, garbage, returning décor to proper areas, moving furniture back to its proper location)
• Ensuring storage rooms are clean and accessible, well-equipped (extension cords)
• Teardown of spaces; returning equipment, ensuring rooms are presentable for following day (i.e. presentable for last minute tours)
• Supplies should be returned to the storage room for accurate review of inventory (flipboards, mobile whiteboards)
• Print & posting display signage and removing at the end of the day or event
Qualifications
Have a minimum of 1-2 years’ of hospitality experience
Provide outstanding customer service while respecting the confidentiality of the firm and its clients.
Have a good command of the Microsoft Office suite and Teams
Ability to build excellent interpersonal relationships and a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Have a professional attitude.
