As technical manager, you will guide the development of large-scale IT projects and mandates that have a significant impact on the Bank's profitability and efficiency, and that require high-level technical experience and expertise.
You will act as a leader in your area of expertise, align the various project solutions in the sector, and support the architects in achieving the Bank's strategic objectives by reviewing and providing technical support, thus enabling them to optimize the quality of services and operations.
You are responsible for the maintenance in operational condition of the assets and services in your domain. Finally, you will be responsible for the rise in technical maturity of the members of the MFT team.

• Validate and produce technological solutions that meet business needs and align with corporate orientations and roadmaps.
• With the architects, define and validate the non-functional requirements and ensure that the solutions meet them.
• Act as a technological integrator for the various solutions in the sector and ensure that the implementation is done according to the planned architecture.
• Support platform maintenance activities which include but not limited to operating system, application updates and operational automation.
• Be responsible for implementing automations to improve the security, reliability, maintainability, availability and performance of the MFT platform.
• Participate in building self-service capabilities for customers.
• Diagnose and resolve file transfer and platform issues.
• Analyze and report platform-related issues to respective product vendors.
• You are flexible to provide production support (24*7).
• Team player, you are the technical leader of an agile squad of around 6 to 8 people.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree completed, related to the sector of activity, and 10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience on one of the MFT products such as IBM Sterling, Axway or any other competitive B2B/MFT product.
• Experience in managing very high volume data and file transfers and dealing with performance issues.
• Experience working in a Unix and Linux environment.
• Good experience in scripting (shell, python, XML, etc.).
• Experience in optimizing SQL queries.
• Knowledge of network protocols and security (encryption/authentication/certificates).
• Cloud exposure like AWS/Azure/GCP. A good understanding of AWS technologies, including but not limited to S3, EC2 or EKS is an asset.
• Exposure to integration technologies (Microservices, Rest API, MQ).
• Skills on a monitoring or observability tool such as Splunk will be an added value.
• Experience in application design, coding practices, quality assurance and documentation.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, including incident, problem and change management processes.
• Knowledge of the Scrum framework.
• Practical experience of SAFe and/or certification, an asset.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to communicate ideas in a language that is both technical and user-friendly.
• Bilingualism (English/French), an important asset.
