Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for an Operations Officer for a 12 month contract in Edmonton. This is onsite role. There is a high chance this contract will extend depends on volume and convert to a permanent opportunity.

Rotational Shifts: Monday-Friday, 8am - 6pm; likely will work fulltime hours right now but hours will vary.

Responsibilities
As an Operations Officer your duties will include:
•Working with a team that manages the end to end process of discharging of a personal real estate facility.
•Involving the booking of statements, processing the payout and closing the facility.
•Preparing the discharge documents that are sent to the solicitor or land titles to have our registration removed from title.
•Supporting other tasks that support the completion of these main tasks of a discharge.
•Maintaining excellent quality while meeting productivity metrics.
•Processing and administrative tasks (in office officers)
Qualifications
•Excellent written and verbal communication
•Strong attention to detail
•Willing to ask questions/honest
•Driven; results oriented
•Able to work under pressure, tight timelines
•Tech savvy – comfortable setting up computer by themselves, some technical knowledge (ability to navigate comfortably on the computer)
•Data entry experience (a metric-based business where they are measured on their ability to get items completed in a timely fashion)
•Work independently, use tools provided to you in training and problem solve before escalating.
•High school is required. Post- secondary required. 1+ years of related experience required.
Nice to have:
•Previous banking/financial experience (data entry vs teller)
•Management experience (shift supervisor, showing progress in previous positions)
