    Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for a Receptionist for a 2 month contract in Barrie. This is 100% onsite role.
    Pay rate: $ 17.78/ Hour
    Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

    Responsibilities
    •Visiting internal and external clients.
    •Providing a high level of reception support ensuring quality service and professionalism at every customer interaction.
    •Handling basic Customer inquiries
    •Answering general questions regarding bank locations, hours, products and services from Customers and other Bank personnel, or refer them to the appropriate department where they will obtain a timely and accurate answer
    •Screening calls not immediately identifiable by questioning callers regarding the service, department, or individual involved
    •Ensuring Customer issues are handled appropriately, escalating issues when necessary
    •Keeping an up-to-date directory of telephone numbers throughout the bank
    •Relaying incoming and outgoing calls
    •Sorting, stamping, and distributing mail, maintain records and files, send, receive and distribute faxes, arrange meetings and appointments, file and photocopy as needed, type memos and assist with mailings
    •Prioritizing own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity
    •Understanding and applying operating policies and procedures
    •Supporting the timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures
    •Escalating non-standard or high-risk activities as necessary
    •Supporting and participate in process improvement opportunities
    •Ensuring necessary due diligence to support the accuracy of all transactions / activities
    •Being knowledgeable of and comply with Bank Code of Conduct.


    Qualifications
    •Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
    •Multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
    •Ability to work independently and manage ones time.
    •Ability to keep information organized and confidential.
    •Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

    Nice to have:
    •Previous experience in a similar role
