Responsibilities
Work with multiple cross functional teams to translate business strategies and requirements into solutions, articulating technical vision and strategy.
Work closely with internal teams as well as with customers to implement interactive prototypes for upcoming features.
Translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.
Develop prototype code to validate architectural design decisions, ensuring maintainability, performance, security, scalability and time to market.
Drive solution design from concept to implementation.


Qualifications
BS or MS in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent.
4+ years of software development experience in Liferay on version 6.1
2+ years of front-end development experience (HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, Javascript).
Experience with Liferay portal. Should have implemented multiple Portals/Projects using Liferay.
Familiar with advanced JavaScript concepts and design patterns.
Strong experience styling with CSS using preprocessors (SASS, LESS).
Strong experience styling for cross browser presentation.
Extensive experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.
Must have Bootstrap experience.
Hands-on experiences in build and deployment processes in the Unix/Linux environment.
Experiences in configuration management and continuous integration and automated build tools.
Experience in code review and code quality control.
Hands-on experiences in Web Services, XML and data persistence layer framework design and development.
Deep understanding of web and application server technologies, including open-source technologies.
Ability to work in a very dynamic, flexible and creative environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with management, development staff, and customers.
Driven self-starter and a team player. Enjoys a leadership role with a high degree of technical ownership.
Ability to analyze new technologies, emerging standards and market trends, and understand how they affect products today and in the future.
Critical problem solver with the ability to recognize and anticipate problems (technical, operational, process, organizational) and to identify and implement the best solution in a timely manner.
