    Responsibilities
    What will you be doing?

    In the role of Panel Builder, you will be responsible for reading blueprints and electrical drawings to assemble/build/wire electrical control cabinets.

    · Drilling and cutting holes for electrical devices
    · Mounting of components to back panels and enclosures
    · Assemble electrical components into control panel
    · Able to read and understand electrical drawings.
    · Cut, strip, bend and mount wires to connect electrical units within a panel/control box
    · Point to point wiring of relays, controls, PLCs, I/O Modules, VFDs, interfaces and instrumentation
    . Assist with panel inspections (CSA/UL)
    . Provide Site/field support for installation, wiring or troubleshooting.


    Qualifications
    Qualifications:
    · Previous 3+ years experience with control panel building/wiring is essential
    - Electrical apprentices welcomed!
    · Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
    · Knowledge with components such as relays, PLC’s, contactors, power supply’s, etc.
    · Demonstrable ability to use variety of hand/power tools and test equipment related to panel builder duties
    · Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
