Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining the registration of corporations in Quebec, including the
preparation and filing of declarations and other forms with the
Registraire des entreprises du Québec;
- Conducting corporate searches, certificates of status and other public record searches
public records searches;
- Preparation of annual and other routine resolutions;
- Review and maintenance of corporate minute books;
- Requesting copies of legal documents;
- Assisting attorneys in financial transactions;
- Registration of trademarks;
- Preparation of corporate documents such as articles of incorporation, amalgamations, amendments, dissolution and reincorporation of provincial and federal entities;
- Handling client inquiries and various other day-to-day business related tasks

Qualifications
What we're looking for:
You are a team player with a flexible and positive attitude, the ability to prioritize and work under pressure. In addition, this position requires someone with excellent organizational, communication and writing skills in both English and French.
You are open to the evolution of technology and have strong
computer skills. Previous experience in corporate law is not required, but would be considered an asset.
Other skills
- Proofreading and translation in English and French (oral and written);
- File management;
- Microsoft Word and Excel;
- Speech Exec transcription software, or other similar software;
